Supervision Course for General Insurance Agents

The Supervision Course for General Insurance Agents is an overview of supervisor responsibilities under the Insurance Council Rules, provincial legislation, and other regulatory responsibilities.

Supervisors have several requirements and responsibilities to fulfill as part of their role. This course is intended to help supervisors understand their responsibilities and best practices when overseeing others. The course includes interactive case studies, quiz questions and a downloadable course handbook.

The Supervision Course is for general level 2 and 3 insurance agents who have supervisory duties. If you are a nominee, adjusting firm nominee or nominee applicant, including general insurance direct writer nominee or applicant, you are also encouraged to register for the Nominee Responsibilities and Best Practice Course for general insurance and adjuster nominees.
